#5. Just Tell Them You Love Them
Dogs may not understand human language the same way we do, but they are experts at reading body language and vocal cues. Simply telling your dog “I love you” in a warm and loving tone can go a long way in making them feel loved and valued. This is especially effective when paired with positive reinforcement training, which rewards good behavior with treats and praise.
