Apples are a surprising but safe treat for cats when given in moderation. They’re rich in vitamins A and C, which support skin and immune health, and they provide a small boost of fiber.
Remove the seeds and core before offering a thin slice of apple to your cat. The seeds contain cyanide, which is toxic to pets. Stick to fresh, plain apples and avoid sugary or spiced varieties.
