5. Head Butts and Nuzzles

If you’ve ever had your cat bump their head into you, it’s a move called “bunting.” Cats have scent glands on their face, and when they rub against you, they’re marking you with their scent as a sign of affection and trust. These little head butts are one of the sweetest ways your cat says, “You’re mine, and I love you.” They may also rub their cheeks along your hand or arm – a loving gesture that bonds you both even more.
