5. Sleeping
Cats are well known for sleeping for an incredibly long amount of time. Usually about 16 to 18 hours per day. Because of this, they are very picky about where they choose to sleep. They need to sleep somewhere that they feel is safe from predators and danger.
Now although domestic cats don’t tend to be in any kind of danger, they still carry with them this instinct.
So if your cat ever falls asleep on your lap or close to you, you should take that as a great sign as your cat has to have a lot of trust in you.
